MISSION:
The S.A.C., Sacramento Artists Council supports local artists, musicians, photographers, filmmakers and artisans as well as cultivate and inspire high school students while partnering with local business for a greater sense of art community throughout the Sacramento Region with an emphasis within Midtown and Downtown areas.

STRATEGY:
The S.A.C. creates a venue for local artists of all ages to showcase their talents via fundraising events and weekly promotions.
The SAC generates funds for scholarships to be awarded to high school seniors
The Application process is currently closed for 2011 and will be reopen for 2012.

The Sacramento Artists Council has recently been able to partner with a few artists and enable them to share their exceptional artistic creations with the Sacramento Community.

Our goal is to raise $35,000 for our seed money to kick-off our art programs for at risk and homeless children to learn job skills such as carpentry & welding via the arts and give these kids a fighting chance to be productive members of society!
Help support Gina Rossi and her group of teens creating the
Chili Cook-off Taveling Trophy by donating metal forks, spoons, knives and other kitchen utensils.
